Life Member Profiles
The University of NSW Cricket Club (the Club) was established in 1951 as the University of Technology Cricket Club; first playing as the University of New South Wales Cricket Club in the 1958/9 season. The Club initially participated in the NSW Cricket Association Municipal and Shires competition. In 1973/4 season, the Club, was admitted into the Sydney Grade Cricket competition.
Life membership is awarded by the Management Committee to Club members who have made an outstanding contribution to the Club through participation, administration, or support and outstanding commitment to the welfare and improvement of the Club.

The first Life Membership was awarded to John Beard in the 1961/2 season.
