Cricket enthusiasts wanted: Join UNSWCC for the love of the game

Welcome to the University of New South Wales Cricket Club (UNSWCC).

We’re a powerhouse among the 20 clubs in NSW Premier Cricket.

We field six grades of players from professional cricketers to social enthusiasts.

Heard of the illustrious Sheffield Shield or BBL? With UNSWCC, you could bat your way onto Australia’s professional cricket circuit.

For our younger players: Check out our Under 21’s Poidevin-Gray Shield team and our Under 16’s A.W. Green Shield.

UNSWCC has produced numerous International, First-Class and BBL cricketers over its 70+ year history. We supported Geoff Lawson, Michael Slater, Dan Christian, Mark Ray, Greg Watson, David Dawson, Murray Creed, Chris Tremain, Matthew Gilkes, Charlie Wakim, Katie Mack, Tim Lang, Timm van der Gugten and Tom Cooper.

The club has also acted as a temporary home for overseas cricketers touring in Sydney such as England international player Harry Brook, County cricketers Ben Geddes, Ryan Patel, Luke Wells, Nicholas Selman, Michael Burgess and many more.

"If you want a place where cricket and culture are valued equally, you’ve found your place. Some of my best friends are those I share the park with every Saturday."

Our friendly culture is the heartbeat of our club.

At UNSWCC, we’re not just about cricket - we take pride in our members who are committed to unleashing their best on and off the field.

We understand the balancing act – cricket, academics, work - so we're here to support all our members through every step. Our key goal is to build a lifelong relationship with members, helping them achieve their best and position our club as a lifelong home.

We wouldn't be where we are without our sponors

Acknowledgment of Country

UNSWCC acknowledges and pays respect to the Gadigal people, whose land we are honoured to play our game of cricket on. We extend our respect to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and their past, present and emerging elders who have walked upon and cared for this Country long before us.

We acknowledge their ongoing connection and sovereignty to this country as the Traditional Owners and we commit ourselves to the ongoing journey of Reconciliation, so that together we may bring about equity and equality, built on strong and trusting relationships.
